My hair this week - 1 style, 3 Looks.

When I am not protective styling with weaves or wigs, I am protective styling with cornrows and twists. Last week I wore my hair in 2 flat twists... then a twist out... then a bun! All heat free. See pics below:

Day one - Flat twists

Front

Top

Day four - Flat twist out

Day Six - Messy bun

Really quick, simple, versatile and the best part... Heat free!

How did you wear your hair last week?

  3. Lovely styles. Guess you ve been busy, been checking daily but no new posts till now. Since you are into beauty as a whole and the brows are made of hair anyway, how do you keep yours well groomed and whats the best way to get a natural look using liners(pencils)? Is the weave place in nigeria cuz I am not in Lagos nor Abj and would have loved to get some weaves but can't find their location on the site? Thanks

    1. Thanks. For my eyebrows, I just tweeze or wax the stray strands, trim and fill out/shape with a brown black brow pencil.

The WeavePlace delivers all over Nigeria. You can call them at:
      07038457691 or 08054033740.

  6. Hi, lovely style u got there. I hope you're gonna reply to this. Just a question that needs an answer asap. I've been looking for curl activator/enhancer for relaxed hair that won't overdry my hair. Do you use any curl enhancer/activator? If u do, which curl activating/enhancing product do you use and how can I get it in Nigeria? Thanks a lot. Anurika

    1. S-curl activator and styling spray are really good but it depends on how processed your hair is. If your hair is texturized or texlaxed then it should activate your curls but not if it is bone straight.

  12. Hi,
I am new to your site and I think the site is amazing. I am looking to go natural and planning towards my big chop. I have not retouched for 6 months now but I only have about 2-3 inches of natural hair. I am scared lol! Have you got any tips and I was wondering if I can do without protective styling considering I'll only have less than 4 inches of hair after the chop.

  13. Good morning, I'm a Nigerian so I went to my stylist to relax my hair yesterday but while relaxing this is what happened after applying the relaxer on my new growth she massage through comb it with a rat toothed tail i.e the small blue comb with tiny tooth; she comb it twice al-round and also applied it on the older growth sayin "if not applied on it the older growth i.e. previously relaxed hair would turn natural so applying it makes everything uniform" and I stayed 10mins more after this process got bone straight using a no-lye relaxer. This is how its been done here in Nigerian which I know of, But is this right? if not how do I go about it because I want my hair to be healthy.
I want to add protein to my hair using Egg, how do I go about it? What will I add? After this will I still Deep condition? Need your guidance Thanks I will be very glad! Temmy
